AFRC fixes fee of Ayush courses in Madhyapradesh

BHOPAL: Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee ( AFRC) has announced fees for Nursing and AUSH post graduation and graduation courses. It penalised 128 of 196 private professional institutes by reducing the chargeable by them for not submitting financial audit report, said officials.

New fee of BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, BNS, B Sc ( nursing), Post Basic Nursing, M Sc ( nursing) and MD ( Ayu) was announced for three academic sessions – 2013- 14, 2014- 15 and 2015- 16.

The committee, presided over by Prof TR Thapak, fixed the fees only after the model code of conduct for Assembly election was lifted.

The committee increased fee of 51 private institutes by 10 to 20 percent but it was done only in case of institutions which submitted applications and audit report.

Six institutes of BAMS, three of BUMS, 18 of BHMS, one o BNS, 99 of B Sc ( nursing), 40 of PB ( nursing), 26 of M Sc ( nursing) and three of MD ( Ayu) requested that their fees be enhanced. Total 15 institutions requested not to change their existing fee slabs. [Source]
