BAAH Workshop on Nosodes by Dr Biswajit Basu Kolkata

The Bengal Academy of Applied Homoeopathy[BAAH] ,Kolkata West Bengal organized one day workshop on 9th. September 2012 at ‘Jeebanada Shabha Ghar’ Paschimbanga Bangla Academy, Rabindra Sadan Cultural Complex, Kolkata, West Bengal on the topic –Scope of Nosodes in Homoeopathy.

Dr Biswajit Basu, BAAH chairman  delivered on the topic .The One day workshop was attended mostly by recently passed out Undergraduates and Post graduates and also senior  Homoeopaths from different Districts of West Bengal and also from other states. In his discourse Dr. Biswajit Basu covered the topic  from different aspects ,Introduction of Nosodes in Homoeopathy, Nosodes & theory of Miasms, Indication and limitation use of Nosodes in pre-lunch session. In the post-lunch session prescribing symptoms of some commonly used nosodes presented with illustration supported by cured cases, the most delighted time in this workshop was relationship and comparative study of Carcinosin  with other Homoeopathic medicines ,that also illustrated with evidence based cases. The workshop was concluded with an interactive session . In this connection BAAH started a project to Survey the prevalent practices and trends of use of Nosodes , all the participants contributed their views , and teachers ,practitioners are also giving their views in the prescribed survey form.

In the valedictory function Dr. P.K Chandra, Asst. Director, Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy, Govt. of India, was present as the Chief guest and appreciated this endeavour to train qualified Homoeopathic physicians by The Bengal Academy of Applied Homoeopathy[BAAH] as a Non Govt. Organization. A social Service organization ‘Chandra Welfare & Pratima.P.C. Chandra foundation’  came forward to support this effort rendered by The Bengal Academy of Applied Homoeopathy[ BAAH.

Dr. Shipra Basu ,Organizing Secretary, The Bengal Academy of Applied Homoeopathy[BAAH] ,Kolkata West Bengal announced  this programme as on  an ongoing project to be continued on different topics and modules and paid vote of thanks to all for their active support.
