Time Three Hours Maximum 100 Marks
Answer all questions.

I. Explain “Nosodes”. Write the name of six nosodes prepared from tuberculosis with four characteristic symptoms of each. (1+ 24 = 25 marks)

11. Write five indications of the following in bone affections

  • 1.Silicea. 2 Natrum Silico fluorecum.
  • 3.Calcarea carb. 4 Hecla Lava.
  • 5.Aurum met.   (5 x 5 = 25 marks)

111. Compare and contrast the following with their five characteristic symptoms

  • 1. Phosphoric acid and Muriatic acid in typhoid fever.
  • 2. Stannum met and Carbon tetrachloride in worm trouble.
  • 3. Merc.Sol and Hep.Sulph in tansellitis.
  • 4. Plumbum met. and Causticum in paralysis.
  • 5. Kali. Carb and Ant. Tart in pneumonia.  (5 x 5 = 25 marks)

IV.1.Make synthetic study of magnesium group of medicines with their flue characteristic symptoms.
2. Make analytic study of its any four members with their five characteristic symptoms.  (5 + 20 = 25 marks)

Paper 11. Homeopathic Philosophy-MIASM .

1. Discuss the concept of individualization in Homoeopathic practice with reference to Dr. Hahnemann, Dr. Kent, Dr. H.A. Roberts, Dr. Dunham and Dr. Stuart Close. (25 marks)

2. Explain remedy reaction and its clinical significance according to Dr. H.A. Roberts. (25 marks)

3. “The fact Is that homoeopathy was the logical and legitimate offspring of the Inductive Philosophy and Method of Aristotle and Lord Bacon. It is the highest development of modem therapeutics”. Substantiate. (25 marks)

4. Write a short account of

  • (a) Compare and contrast of the Psychic symptoms of different miasms. (15 marks)
  • (b) Significance of Idiosyncrasy. (10 marks)

 Each question carries 25 marks.

1. “While paying attention to those circumstances, the physician needs only to remove the totality of the symptoms in order to cure the disease”. Explain.

2. Discuss the evolution of the concept of dose in Homoeopathy through the different editions of Organon of Medicine.

3.”It was never suspected that these histories of medicinal diseases would one day furnish the first rudiments of the true, pure Materia medica, which from the earliest times until now has consisted solely of false conjectures and fictions of the imagination”. Explain.

4. Discuss the method of investigation and management of Local maladies, as elaborated by Dr. Hahnemann. (4 X 25 = 100 marks)

1. “In one word, we find ourselves in the realm of pure dynamics. This is the true and only sphere of homoeopathy, the sphere of vital dynamics”. Substantiate.  (25 marks)

2. Explain the concept of Susceptibility and Susceptible constitution in homoeopathy as discussed by Dr. Hahnemann, Dr. Kent, Dr. H.A. Roberts and Dr. Stuart Close.  (25 marks)

3. Discuss the method of management of Psoric diseases according to Dr. Hahnemann. (25marks)

4.    Write short account of:

  • (a)   Knowledge of disease according to Dr. Richard Hughes.  (15 marks)
  • (b)   Cure and Recovery.  (10 marks)
