The Uttar Pradesh police busted a fake homeopathy medicine manufacturing unit in a Meerut village.
A police team raided the house of Radhe in Saini village where he and his associates used to manufacture fake medicines of Dr. Reckeweg and Company, a prominent German homoeopathic medicine brand.
A large number of empty bottles and printouts of the brand have been seized.

According to the police, Radhe and the others have been booked for cheating, and trademark and copyright violation.
“We received a complaint from some officials of Dr. Reckeweg and Company on Tuesday that a factory being run in Saini village was illegally manufacturing medicines to treat gall bladder stones. After getting the complaint, we raided the house owned by Radhe,” a police officer said.
“The factory had a tailoring shop signboard outside. But when we raided the factory, we found thousands of empty bottles and fake labels of the brand. The culprits managed to flee from the spot before the raid,” he added.
The police have sealed the factory and are conducting raids to arrest Radhe.
