In the republic day announcements IIHP past president Dr V K Gupta has been chosen for prestigious ‘padmasree’ award by central government of India.
The award will actually presented by president of India some time in march 2013.
Well known homoeopathic physician of Delhi and a versatile genius, Dr Viswa Kumar Gupta served IIHP as the national president for two terms from 1998 – 200 and 2000-2002.
Dr Gupta retired as principal of Nehru Homoepathic medical college, new Delhi. He had been on many panels as member in many committees under ministry of health and family welfare. He also served as member of central council of homoeopathy in 1990- 95.
He also served as hon’ble physician to president of India. He presented several scientific papers in many homoeoathic conferences, national and internationals.
