Pulse Polio Immunization is not compulsory DHS Kerala

In a reply as per Right to Information act, Public Information Officer Sri.V.Gopalakrishnan Directorate of Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Kerala – said that – It is not compulsory to take Pulse Polio Immunization to every children below 5 years.

The questions asked by Mr.Manoj Kumar. K of Malappuram are

1. Health authorities compelling to take pulse polio immunization to children of below 5 years. Is it right?
Answer : No

4. If I am not willing to give poio oral drops to my child, whether I should express my stand in writing or not?
Answer  : Not required, verbal stand in enough
