Location : Gurgaon
Duration of Position : One year or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier.
Project Brief:
Sugar-sweetened beverage (SSB) consumption is established as a major risk factor for overweight and obesity, as well as an array of cardio-metabolic conditions, especially type 2 diabetes and also dental caries. The acceleration of SSB consumption among middle-income country populations has been associated with increased obesity, overweight, and type 2 diabetes prevalence rates, independent of concurrent changes in other caloric consumption, physical inactivity, and age.
Deliverables:
Participate in the conduct of research studies, including review of literature, preparation of the tools, guidelines and instruments for the research studies, analysis and writing up of research findings, under the guidance of senior research staff.
Qualification: Minimum of a Graduation in medical sciences or equivalent degree in Public Health or relevant social or health sciences.
