Education
Graduate in traditional medicine, complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) or conventional medicine
Bachelor of ayurvedic medicine and surgery (BAMS)/bachelor of naturopathy and yogic sciences (BNYS)/ bachelor of homeopathic medicine and surgery (BHMS)/medical graduate in sowa rigpa

Previous work experience
3+ years of experience in holistic or integrative health, preferably in the hospitality sector.

Additional qualifications/technical skills

• Additional qualifications and/or experience in wellness/spa/yoga/fitness/nutrition preferred
• Quick and accurate diagnostic skills
• Well-versed in the philosophies of different modalities of CAM and traditional systems
• Strong knowledge of current trends, practices, researchand growth in health and wellness
• Conversant with health and safety, fire and emergency procedures
• Qualified in first aid
• Adept at handling information systems and office automation

Language skills
Excellent command over written and spoken english

Role summary
Offer efficient ayurveda consultations that are refined, empathetic and sensitive to each guest’s wellbeing needs. Prepare wellness itinerary accordingly.
Craft, deliver and monitor effective and bespoke retreats with sustainable progress
Prepare consultation notes for each guest. Maintain updated records in a systematic manner.
Offer caring and professional support to guests
Ensure timely communication, mindful interactions and engagement with the team and guests
Write, review and update SOPs as necessary
Participate and contribute in all departmental meetings with specialist/consultant forums
Work in synergy with Vana’s team of multi-disciplinary traditional/(CAM) specialists to deliver highly effective and bespoke retreats
Personally embrace a healthy lifestyle and participate in team activities and guide the team to a healthy lifestyle
