UPSC Homoeopathy Medical Officer/Research Officer exam date 2016 and model paper

Reference Union Public Service Commission’s Advertisement No. 11/2015 published on 22.08.2015, Vacancy No. 15081102122, Item No. 02 with closing date of submission of Online Application being 23:59 Hrs. on 10.09.2015 for Recruitment to 10 Posts of Medical Officer/Research Officer (Homoeopathy) in the Central Government Health Scheme, Ministry of Ayush.

In terms of provisions contained in the above advertisement, the Commission have decided to conduct a COMPUTER BASED RECRUITMENT TEST (CBRT) for shortlisting the candidates for the posts on 19.03.2016 (SATURDAY) (AFTERNOON SESSION) from 02.00 P.M. TO 04.00 P.M. (CANDIDATE’S REPORTING TIME AT EXAM CENTRE IS 12.30 P.M.) at the following Centers.

Only such candidates who are shortlisted after CBRT would be asked to submit documents in support of their claim for the posts. Their documents will be scrutinized and those candidates who fulfill all the eligibility conditions of the posts shall be called for interview.

  1. Scheme of the Test:

(a) The test will be of two hours duration and will carry a maximum of 300 marks.

(b) The test will be objective type questions with multiple choices of answers.

(c) All Questions will carry equal marks.

(d) The medium of the Test will be English only.

(e) There will be penalty for wrong answers. Every wrong answer will carry a deduction of one third of the marks assigned to that question. If no answer is marked for a question, there will be no penalty for that question.

(a) The syllabus of the question paper shall broadly cover:

All the core areas normally included in the Bachelor’s Degree of Homeopathy Medicine and Surgery programmes of India Universities.

NOTE-II: CBRT and the interview shall carry a 75:25 weightage for those candidates shortlisted out of the computer based recruitment test and those who qualify in the interview.
