Distribute CAMPHOR-200 as a GE Preventive<\/p>\n
Dr.Y.Bala Murali Krishna<\/strong><\/p>\n Hyderabad, Nov 9(2012): Homoeopaths in Andhra Pradesh have today vowed to ward off the deadly gastroenteritis threatening to strike in the several parts of the state ravaged by unprecedented floods following the several cyclonic storm Neelam.<\/p>\n They also renewed their plea for opening the long awaited \u201cState Epidemic Cell\u201d with immediate effect so that the homoeopathic doctors could play their role in the distribution of preventive medicine when epidemics threaten to strike.<\/p>\n The AP Chapter of the apex Indian Institute of Homoeopathic Physicians(IIHP) have at the same time appealed to all homoeopaths under all banners to distribute the medicine \u201cCAMPHOR-200\u201d in the flood hit areas as a preventive medicine.<\/p>\n \u201cGastro Enteritis is likely to hit and it can be prevented through a homoeopathic medicine –\u00a0CAMPHOR 200. It should be given once in a week for 3 successive weeks to prevent the disease which is common after the floods,\u201d Dr. Dr.N.Srinivasa Rao, Member, National Advisory Board, IIHP, Hyderabad, told a press conference here today.<\/p>\n The IIHP had further demanded the state government to constitute a \u2018Cabinet Sub-Committee\u201d to redress the genuine grievances of homoeopaths<\/strong> to give boost to this school of medicine founded by German Physician Samuel Hahnemann \u00a0that had taken deep roots across the world these days.<\/p>\n The doctors recalled the time-tested efficacy of homoeopathy as a \u201cpreventive and curative\u201c \u00a0medicine to check alarming increase of Epidemic Diseases which needs establishment of a State Epidemic Cell:<\/p>\n The A.P. Homoeopaths \u00a0had proved the efficacy of homoeopathic drugs in the prevention of deadly Japanese Encephalitis (Brain Fever) in the last decade, using the drugs trio – Belladonna, Calcarea Carb and Tuberculinum, popularly known as BCT, receiving acclaim all over the world, forcing other states in the country to emulate AP\u2019s strategy.<\/p>\n But, unfortunately, after the epidemic was over, \u00a0the Govt. conveniently ignored homoeopaths and did not make any effort to consolidate the strengths of homoeopathy in the prevention of other viral diseases like the Dengue, Chikun Gunya etc., which had been rising their ugly heads in several parts of the country.<\/p>\n \u201cThe tremendous potential of homoeopathy in the prevention of viral diseases has remained largely untapped by the medical profession<\/strong>. Now we are requesting the Govt. to establish a STATE EPIDEMIC CELL where homoeopaths are included and work out the strategy to prevent other viral disease,\u201d Dr.Rao said.<\/p>\n It is the right time to use the services of homoeopaths \u00a0in the country, particularly in AP\u2019s flood affected areas of North Coastal Districts of Srikakulam, East and West Godavari and parts of Rayalaseema\u00a0 where the Gastro Enteritis is likely to strike, <\/strong>the IIHP added. \/\/EOM\/\/<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
