ABSTRACT
Autism spectrum disorder ASD also known as pervasive development disorder is characterized by impairment in social communication, restricted and repetitive behaviors. It is phenotypically neurodevelopmental syndrome with polygenic heritability. The diagnostic core of autism collapse into two domains: deficits in social communication, and restricted and repetitive behavior. Autism spectrum disorder is typically evident in second year of life and in severe cases.
This article shows the effectiveness of homoeopathy medicine is treating cases like AUTISM. A boy of 8 year old having symptoms of AUTISM since 5 years was beautifully managed through Individualized homoeopathic medicine . the medicine was selected on the basis of totality of symptoms

INTRODUCTION
Autism is the brain development condition causing difficulty to interact with others, causing troubles in social interaction and communication along with repetitive patterns of behavior which is very difficult to change. There are other disorders and syndromes like (Asperger’s syndrome, childhood disintegrative disorder and an unspecified form of pervasive developmental disorder) which were previously consider separate but comes under autism. Autism appears before 3 years of age and if not treated properly will exit throughout person’s life. Children with autism have difficulty in (communication and learning abilities), poor sensory stimulation like how to react sensory input, like sound, lights, clothes, or temperature etc. scientists have discovered that genetic, biological and environmental factors play major role in the development of Autism.
Case report
HISTORY OF PRESENT ILLNESS
A case of 8-year-old boy came to me on 2 June 2022. His parents’ complaints of their son having difficulty in making connection with family persons and friends, he always wants to remain alone, very restless in nature. When I ask his Name, he was not cooperative with me and not making any eye contact. He was very poor in study and face very much difficulty in focusing on single subject for longer period of time. He writes the sentence in opposite manner. Mostly he does not remember anything, but once he learned some word he started repeating the word continuously. They took various treatment like allopathy, homoeopathy, ayurvedic but without any significant change. Although allopathic medicine was still going on regular basis (antipsychotic and SSRI) to maintain the symptoms of anxiety, aggression, obsession.
PAST HISTORY : History of frequent tonsilitis

FAMILY HISTORY
Mother- hypertension, early stage of diabetes
Father- Diabetes
PHYSICAL GENERALS
- Appetite- normal, but increased at night, sometimes eat at midnight
- THIRST- increased thirst
- Craving- like sour sweet (panni puri water), fruits

- Stool- normal
- Sleep- mostly on abdomen

MENTAL GENERALS
- the child was very forgetful, anything that the mother teaches the child cannot remember
- speech underdeveloped
- the child starts crying when reprimanded
- the child is very fond of travelling and loves to see picture of flower and love to visit places that are natural like garden, park
- the child cannot put forward its need (lack of expression)
- mother says that sometime does very cruel acts like beating cockroaches and spider
- Fear of dark, mother says that he feels that someone is behind him.

CONCLUSION
This case highlights the effectiveness of homoeopathic medicine in treating developmental disorders like autism. By doing proper case taking and accurate repertorization, it is possible to treat any type of developmental disorder disease. Integrating homoeopathic approaches with conventional medical treatments could offer a holistic and patient centered strategy to treat genetic and developmental disorders.
SOME COMMON HOMOEOPATHIC MEDICINE FOR AUTISM
BARYTA CARB- this remedy is given to the children with poor development of the cognition but body grows. They have fear of social gathering, fear of stranger and like the familiar things
CALCAREA CARBONICA- security is the main requirement in this remedy. These are the children who developed in very comfortable environmental condition which makes them difficult to confront any difficulty. they like comfortable zone
AGARICUS MUSCARIS- these children are very fearless, there is no sense of danger. Indisposed to perform any type of mental work. Cannot do anything new, cannot do his routine work or does the opposite.
CICUTS VIROSA- Complaints comes after head injury. Childish behaviour. everything appears strange and terrible. Feels herself unsteady, overestimation of herself. Does not remember what has happened, does not recognize anybody but answers well. Feels as if he was at strange place.
NATRUM MURIATICUM- this remedy is often used in children after death of parent especially mother or some disappointment. They are very reserved, desire solitude and do not express their emotions in front of others. They are very sensitive to reprimand, go inside the room and weep silently. Tendency to make mistakes in speaking and writings. Aversion to strangers while passing urine.
