Central Health minister Sri Gulam Nabi Azad announced the All India Institute of Homoeopathy to be established at Trivandrum.
The Trivandrum Homoeopathic medical college will be upgraded to All India Institute.
Kerala will soon get a National Homoeopathy Institute, Health Minister V S Sivakumar has said in Delhi. He said that a petition in this regard had been filed with the Union Health Ministry and he had held discussions with the AYUSH deputy secretary regarding this.
The State Government will provide the required land for the institute and a Homoeo Hospital will also be set up adjacent to it. “Along with facilities for postgraduate degree courses, research facilities to find out the immense potential of homoeopathy will also be carried out at the institute,” Sivakumar said.
He hoped that the institute would strengthen the AYUSH facilities in the state.
The decision was taken based on a perfect feasibility report prepared by the patron of Homoeopathy decade movement ,Dr Ravi M Nair and team
