An alphabetical repertory of modalities based on Cleveland’s materia medica

Dr Jaimin R Chotaliya

INTRODUCTION: –
Concept of modalities in Homoeopathy makes it unique and curious science in the world of therapeutics. Focus of homeopath in these changes along with disease opens a path of individualization and finally selection of remedy for case. Due to presence of huge data on modalities, it is very difficult to remember modalities of all remedies. This repertory is based on Hahnemann’s Materia Medica Pura and Chronic Diseases, Hull’s Jahr Symptomatology, Cowperthwaite’s Text-Book of Materia Medica, Hughes’ Pharmacodynamics, Heinigke’s Pathogenetic Outlines of Drugs, and Burt’s Physiological Materia Medica. So, let’s dig into old literature to explore some important modalities in very brief manner with authenticity that will boost our confidence in selection of remedy.
