Introduction
The study aims to conduct a comprehensive analysis of cancer cases seeking homeopathic treatment at the Govt Homeopathic Hospital, based on existing hospital data. By analyzing hospital records over a defined period, the study will provide insights into the types of cancer being treated with homoeopathy, the frequency of treatments, and the demographic distribution of patients. The objective is to identify patterns in the use of homeopathy for cancer treatment, assess its prevalence, and explore its role alongside or as an alternative to conventional treatments in the management of cancer.
Data And Methods :
A retrospective study titled “Survey on the Types and Frequency of Cancer Cases Seeking Homoeopathic hospitals” was conducted by analyzing 100 cancer cases. Data were collected from patient records to assess cancer type distribution, demographic patterns, treatment duration and frequency, and observed clinical effectiveness.
Result
The findings indicated that certain cancer types were reported more frequently, with notable age- and gender-based demographic trends. Treatment duration and follow-up frequency varied according to disease stage and patient compliance. Many patients opted for homoeopathic treatment either as a supportive measure alongside conventional therapy or primarily for palliative purposes. This reflects the potential role of homoeopathy in improving quality of life for cancer patients.
Conclusion
The study highlights the rising demand for integrative cancer care approaches and suggests that homoeopathy may offer supportive, palliative, and symptomatic relief. However, limitations such as reliance on retrospective records and lack of long-term follow-up must be acknowledged. Future prospective, multicentric studies with larger samples are recommended to validate outcomes and strengthen the evidence base for homeopathic interventions in oncology.
