Government alive to problems of AYUSH–MP Minister

Shri Mahendra Hardia appeals to doctors to withdraw strike

Minister of State for Medical Education and AYUSH Shri Mahendra Hardia has said that the State Government led by Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan is alive to problems of AYUSH Department and AYUSH doctors. Unprecedented steps have been taken during the last five-six years to improve the department. Number of posts has been increased and maximum expansion of AYUSH Wings has been made.

It is improper for AYUSH doctors to go on strike since as far as their demands are concerned, the State Government and Chief Minister Shri Chouhan are actively considering them. The government is committed to ensuring every possible effort in the interest of AYUSH Department and doctors linked to it.

Process is being undertaken to fill up vacant posts of the department through Public Service Commission and Professional Examination Board. Shri Mahendra Hardia has appealed to AYUSH doctors to withdraw their strike. He said that doors of dialogue are always open and every problem can be resolved through dialogue.[Source]
