Conference on One Health Approach for Health Profession Education

Indonesia One Health University Network (INDOHUN) is going to hold an International Symposium “One Health Approach for Health Profession Education in Indonesia”in collaboration with Indonesian Association of Health Profession Educators (IASHE).
On 7^th – 10^th April 2014 in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
IASHE was launched on March 2013 by Prof. Dr. Ali Ghufron Mukti, The Vice Minister of Health. IASHE is established with the main mission to improve the professionalism of health profession educators. The members of IASHE are educators or teachers who work in various health profession education institutions and hospitals.
IASHE has advantage to bring together various health professions such as medical doctor,homeopaths, nurse, nutritionist, public health specialist, dentist, and veterinary so share ideas, experiences and develop models in inter professional education as well as models of collaborative practice as has been endorsed by WHO.
The vision of IASHE is too much aligned with the One Health approach. Therefore, the main theme discussed in the symposium is related to One Health approach.
