Eligibility:
i. Homoeopathic Medical Officer must have possessed Post Graduate Degree in Homoeopathy in the concerned subject for Homoeopathic subjects and Post Graduate Degree in Homoeopathy for allied medical subjects from an University recognised by Central Council of Homoeopathy.

ii. Must have registered him/herself under the State Board of Homoeopathic medicines, Bhubaneswar.

iii. The upper age limit shall be 45 years as on 31.12.2012. There will be relaxation of upper age limit by 5 years for ST, SC & Women candidates by 3 years for SEBC candidates and by 10 years for Physically Challenged candidates.

Procedure for submission of application:
The application form will be available in the web-site of Health & Family Welfare Deptt. i.e www.Orissa.gov.in/health portal. The candidates are to download the application form from the web site duly filled in and sent to the “Director AYUSH, Odisha, Bhubaneswar” by speed post/courier only so as to reach on or before 12.6.2013 by 5 PM. Delivery in other means will not be accepted. The envelope containing the application form must be super scribed “APPLICATION FOR POST OF ADHOC LECTURER IN THE DISCIPLINE……………..”The application form must be accompanied with the original SBI Draft of Rs.500/-(Rupees five hundred) only and the self attested Xerox copy of other required documents. The Bank Draft is drawn in favour of “Director AYUSH, Odisha, Bhubaneswar”.

Selection:
a) The selection will be based on carrier merit-cum interview. The academic carrier of the candidates and interview will carry 90 and 10 marks respectively. The carrier 90 marks of BHMS candidates will comprise of 20% for HSC, 20% for +2 Sc and 50% for BHMS.

b) The selection shall be made by the Selection Committee constituted by the Govt

c) The reservation shall be made in accordance with provisions of the Odisha Reservation of Vacancies in posts and services (for scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes) Act, 1975 and the rules made there under or any other law or rule in force at the relevant time; and SEBC; Sportsperson, Ex- Serviceman, Physically Handicapped persons etc. shall be made in accordance with the provisions made under such rules, orders or instructions issued in this behalf by the Government from time to time.

d) Interview will be conducted by at least two Professor of respective disciplines. The marks for such interview will be awarded by these two experts only.

e) Advertisement will be published by Director, AYUSH, Odisha. After receipt of application forms. Director, AYUSH, Odisha will scrutinise the same and prepare a subject-wise/category-wise merit list of eligible candidates on the basis of rank secured. The interview will be called at a ratio of 1:3 of the vacancies as per the merit list. The subject wise date and venue of interview will be notified by Director, AYUSH, Odisha.

f) Final selection list will be notified by Director, AYUSH, Odisha with prior approval of the Govt.

Tennure:
The selected candidates will be suitably posted in different vacant post in four Govt. Homoeopathic Medical Colleges of the State. The posting is purely temporary and the candidates cannot claim their right to continue in the post on the basis of such appointment. The tenure will be for a period of one year w.e.f the date of joining in the post which can be extended further with one day break on satisfactory performance or recommendation of OPSC for the regular appointment in the said posts whichever is earlier.

Salary & Duties: The salaries and duty of such lecturers shall be same as other lecturers regularly appointed by Government.

Corrigendum
The  eligibility  criteria,  selection  and  date  of  receipt  of  application mentioned under para 3(i),5(d) and in the head line of  the advertisement  made on The Pragatibadi dated 31.05.2013 vide advertisement No.42‐E  and The  Sambad  dated  01.06.2013  vide  advertisement  No.42‐E  for  adhoc  appointment  of  lecturer  in  four  Govt.  Homoeopathic  Medical  Colleges  of  the state may be ignored and the changed above criteria may be read as follows:

Eligibility: (i) Minimum educational qualification for the post of lecturer in Homoeopathic subjects:
The candidate must have possessed Post  Graduate Degree in Homoeopathy in the concerned subject from an University recognised
by Central Council of Homoeopathy.

(ii) Minimum educational qualification for the post of  lecturer  in  allied  medical  subjects:  The  candidate  must  have  possessed  Post Graduate  Degree  in  Homoeopathy  from  an  University  recognised  by Central  Council of Homoeopathy. OR Post  graduate  Medical  Degree  in  concerned  subject  recognised  by the Medical Council of India with two years of professional experience  in  a  hospital  recognised  by  Medical  Council  of  India/Central  Council of Homoeopathy.
