Regular appointments in North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda and Homoeopathy

North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda and Homoeopathy (NEIAH) is an Autonomous Institute under the Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India. The Institute will impart Graduate, Post graduate, Doctoral and Research Programmes in Ayurveda and Homoeopathy. The institute will provide quality medical facilities and act as a referral hospital.

Benefits under NEIAH service for regular appointments:
a) These posts carry usual allowance as admissible to the Central Government employee and as made applicable to North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda & Homoeopathy (NEIAH) employees.
b) In case of deputation, standard terms and conditions of deputation in Govt. of India will be applicable.
c) In respect of contractual appointment, terms and conditions including consolidated remuneration will be decided by the competent authority based on the merits of each case.

Professor (Homoeopathy – Allied Subject)
Rs. 37400- 67000 (PB 4) GP 8700 +NPA

Vacancy : 5 (Five)

  • Anatomy(OBC-1)

  • OBS & Gyne – (UR – 1)

Direct recruitment: Essential Qualification-
a) Post Graduate Degree in concerned subject of Homoeopathy included in the Second schedule of Homoeopathy Central Council Act’ 1973.
OR Post Graduate Medical degree in the concerned subject recognized by the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
b) 15 years of teaching experience out of which 3 years as Reader/ Associate Professor in the concerned subject.
c) 8 years experience in PG teaching.

Desirable : a). PhD in the concerned subject preference over outside candidates.)
b) Post-Graduate such as M.Sc (Anatomy)/ (Physiology) / (Pharmacology) etc. for the respective allied subject
c) Experience as Supervisor/Guide for Post Graduate programme in Homeopathy and original publication in research.
d) Research experience in an institute recognized by a University and/or State Government or Central Government.
e) Administrative experience in a Homoeopathy college/Hospital.
Deputation:
Persons holding analogous post
Or Post Associate Professor in PB-III with GP:7600 in any State/ Central Government/ Autonomous Institutions with essential qualification prescribed for direct recruitment.

Reader (Homoeopathic Subjects):

Direct recruitment: Essential Qualification-
1. Post Graduate Degree in Homoeopathy in concerned subject included in the Second Schedule of the Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973.
2. 5 years teaching experience in the concerned subject or 5 years research experience in PB-III (Rs. 15,600 – 39,100) with GP: 6600/- with NPA OR
10 years combined experience in teaching as Assistant Professor/ Lecturer in concerned subject or 10 years Research experience in PB-III (Rs. 15,600 – 39,100) with GP: 6600/- and 5400/- with NPA respectively.
3. Minimum three research publications indexed in index medicus or National Journals.

Deputation including short term contract:  Officers of Central /State, Statutory Organizations, Autonomous bodies, PSUs, Universities or Research Institutions:
Holding analogous post on Regular basis with essential qualification prescribed for direct recruitment.

OR  Persons with 5 years regular service of teaching in the concerned subject or 5 years research experience in PB-III (Rs. 15,600 – 39,100) with GP: 6600/- with NPA with essential qualification prescribed for direct recruitment.

OR  10 years combined experience in teaching as Assistant Professor/ Lecturer in concerned subject or 10 years Research experience in the pay scale of PB-III (Rs. 15,600 – 39,100) with GP: 6600/- and 5400/- with NPA respectively with essential qualification prescribed for direct recruitment. AND

i. Post Graduate Degree in Homoeopathy in concerned subject recognized under CCH Act, 1973
ii. Minimum three research publications indexed in index medicus or National Journals.

Experience in the concerned subject as Lecturer/Sr. Lecturer/Assistant Professor. Desirable:

OR  Post Graduate Medical Degree in the concerned subject recognized by the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
Deputation:  Person working in analogous post in any State/Central govt. with educational qualification and experience as prescribed for direct recruitment.

Deputy Medical Superintendent (Homoeopathy Hospital)
Rs 15600- 39100 (PB-3) GP 7600 + NPA  (Group – A)

Direct recruitment: Essential Qualification-
1.Post Graduate Degree in Homoeopathy preferably in clinical subjects included in the Second Schedule of Homoeopathy Central Council Act 1973. 2. Minimum 7 years professional experience in a reputed institution/hospital after obtaining Post Graduate degree.
Desirable: i. Master in hospital Administration (MHA)/MBA (HM)/P.G. Diploma in hospital Admn (full time) Minimum 2 years duration from a recognized university.

Ii) Experience of working as Asst. / Deputy Medical Superintendent.
Deputation: a) Officer holding the post of Sr. MO, RMO and Asstt. Professor/lecturer with 5 years in GP: 6600 or 10 years in GP: 5400; and

b) Possessing the educational qualification and experience prescribed for direct recruitment.
