Two teachers of ANSS Homoeopathy College Kottayam and former Principal of RVS Homoeopathy Medical Collge Dr Roofas Thathaniyel – who issued fake experience certificate – found guilty in this crime.
Deputy Police Supdt, VACB Kottyama and Office of the enquiry commission of special judge Kottayam Kerala found two teachers of ANSS Homoeopathy Medical College Kottayam Kerala produced fake experience certificates and appointed as Readers in the Pathology and Community medicine department of the college.
Dr S Vinod Kumar of Community medicine and Dr Sreedevi of Pathology department got appointed as Readers in 2013. Former Principal of RVS Homoeopathy Medical College Dr Roofas Thathaniyel also found guilty in this crime . All these doctors will face action under section 420,465,468,471 & 120(B) IPC. Chingavanam Police will take further action.
Teachers may be dismissed from the college and need to re-pay the salary drawn from 2013 onwards – since this college comes under Govt Aided Sector. Section 465 of Indian Penal Code: Whoever commits forgery shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to two years or with fine or with both.
