Abstract:
Warts are benign proliferative growths of the skin caused by viral infection, commonly affecting the hands and fingers. They may be painless, cosmetically disturbing, and recurrent. Homoeopathy offers an individualized and holistic approach in managing such conditions by addressing the underlying constitutional factors rather than only local symptoms. This case presentation highlights the successful management of warts on fingers in a young female patient using Natrum muriaticum. The prescription was based on the totality of symptoms, including mental and physical generals. The patient showed gradual improvement with complete resolution of warts and no recurrence during follow-up. This case emphasizes the importance of constitutional prescribing in homoeopathy for effective and long-lasting results.
This case demonstrates the effectiveness of homoeopathic treatment in the management of warts through a constitutional approach. Natrum muriaticum, selected on the basis of totality of symptoms, not only led to the complete disappearance of warts but also improved the patient’s overall health. Homoeopathy provides a safe, non-invasive, and holistic method of treatment, reducing recurrence and addressing the root cause rather than suppressing local manifestations. This highlights the significance of individualized remedy selection in achieving successful outcomes.
