Arogya fair at Jaipur evoked good response

JAIPUR: Arogya fair organized to encourage Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) in the state has evoked good response.

On Sunday, people took the benefit of free medicines and free medical advice being provided by experts from different parts of the country participating in the fair. Convener Dr Manohar Pareek said that 2,500 patients availed the benefit of the fair.

The visitors also attended lectures on various topics related to health. The ‘Arogya mela’ is being organized at Birla Auditorium from February 28 to March 3 to provide free consultation and medicines. The experts also spoke about panchkarma and jaloka therapies.

The experts also threw light on home-based therapy for certain diseases. Since non-communicable diseases including diabetes and hypertension are on the rise, the experts gave tips to deal with them.[Source]
