Dr Hema Parikh awarded for homeopathic treatment of cerebral palsy and retardation
Vadodara: City-based homeopath Dr Hema Parikh recently bagged the Dr N D Sindhi Memorial National Award 2016 at Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh for the services she has rendered to the needy and poor patients through homoeopathy.
Parikh, who is working as a head of department of paediatrics at the Shrimati Malini Kishore Sanghavi Hospital and Educational Complex at Karjan, has received the award for her work especially for children suffering from mental retardation and cerebral palsy.
The institute had recently inaugurated ‘Ummeed Cerebral Palsy Center’ sponsored by Lipoid Foundation, Germany. The team working in this centre are consulting homoeopath, paediatrician, paediatric physiotherapist, psychologist, speech therapist among others.
