National Institute of Public Health Training & Research Mumbai invites application for MPH PGDHM PGDCHC DHPE courses

National Institute of Public Health Training & Research (NIPHTR), Mumbai, a Central Training Institute of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India, has invited applications for admission to various Regular and Skill Based Training courses for the academic year 2021-22.

Admissions will be made to the following regular courses, the eligibility for which is given against each.

Master of Public Health (MPH- 2years): Graduates in Medicine / AYUSH / Dentistry / Veterinary Sciences / Allied and Health Sciences / Life Sciences or Graduates in Statistics / Biostatistics / Demography / Population Studies / Nutrition / Sociology / Psychology / Anthropology / Social Work (10 seats)

Post Graduate Diploma In Hospital Management (PGDHM- 1 year): Bachelor’s Degree from recognized University/Medical Graduates/Nursing Graduates (B.Sc, Post Basic), General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) with one year experience/Paramedical Graduates from allied Health Courses with one year experience. Work experience in Hospital set up is desirable (30 seats).

Minimum age for admission will be 21 years for MPH and PGDHM courses.

Post Graduate Diploma course in Community Health Care (PGDCHC- one year): Graduate from a UGC recognised University. Preference will be given to candidates having degree in AYUSH, Allied Health Sciences, B. Sc. (Community Health), Nursing GNM. Candidates already working as AYUSH Practitioner, LHV, Staff Nurse, PHN will be given preference for selection.

Diploma course in Health Promotion Education (DHPE- one year): Graduate from a UGC recognised University. Preference will be given to candidates having degree in the field of AYUSH and Allied Health Sciences / Education / Welfare / Nursing or any other paramedical field.

Upper age limit will be 40 years (5 years’ age relaxation for those belonging to SC/ST and 3years for OBC categories) for PGDCHC and DHPE courses. Each has 30 seats.

Application: Applications are to be submitted in a prescribed application form available at www.fwtrc.gov.in

The filled applications form along application fees of Rs.200/- (No fees for SC/ST Candidates) to be paid online or in the form of DD/Bankers cheque drawn in favour of ‘Director, National Institute of Public Health Training & Research’ payable at Mumbai, is to reach the Institute by Regd/ speed post only, latest by 31 March 2021.
