Central Council of Homoeopathy invites opinion from Homoeopathy organisations within 15 days – on Updating BHMS syllabus with modern pharmacology, emergency management, pharmacokinetics, basic surgical procedures and topics like MUHS modern pharmacology courses courses – in view of new programs initiated by Govt of India like Ayushmann Bharat, Health and Wellness centres etc. in which homoeopaths are not eligible to apply.
The executive committee of Board of Governors of the council held on 23.08.2019 considered the matter and noted that component of modern pharmacology and allopathic medicine is not a part of Homoeopathic students – a strong foundation skill on the above areas may be use to deliver healthcare services effectively in view of new programs initiated by Govt of India like Ayushmann Bharat, Health and Wellness centres etc. in which homoeopaths are not eligible to apply.

Homoeopathy so effective and deep there is no need to implement modern pharmacolgy but upgrade homoeopathy and provide job as Homoeopath on every PHC for homoeopath make available T\t common people in very cheapest cost

As a student of homeopathy i recommend that govt should include pharmacology in bhms syllabus
Modern pharmacology need not to be included in the said study course. Rather sufficient infrastructure should be made in the corresponding institutions so that students can learn how to manage emergency cases using there own therapy.
Don’t opposed upgradation to the BHMS syllabus, we are jobless in Government Health Schemes, all Ayurveda Graduates even nurses are gets good job with better salary in Government sector , but not by Homeopathy Doctors in maharashtra and all over India.
Yes today need for upgrade of homoeopthy drs we required pharmacology course in our syllabus,
