ADDISON’S DISEASE

– a disease caused by the failure of the adrenal cortex to function

– Characterised with anemia, weakness, low blood pressure, hypoglycemia, feeble heart actions, small heart and bronzing of the skin

ALBUMINURIA

– BOERICKE- URINARY SYSTEM – Urine – Type – Albuminuria

– a type of proteinuria where in albumin is present in the urine

– Seen with nephrotic syndrome etc

ANURIA

– BOERICKE- URINARY SYSTEM – Urinary flow –Suppression (=ANURIA)

– total suppression or lack of urine with urine output < 100 mL

AZOTURIA

– BOERICKE-URINARY SYSTEM – Urine – sediment, type – Acetone (= AZOTURIA)

BERGER’S DISEASE

– Or IgA nephropathy is a form of mesangial proliferative nephritis in which IgA antibodies build up in kidney tissues and where glomeruli become inflamed and damaged

– presence of lymph fluids  or white turbid fluid containing suspended fat globules in the urine
