Cabinet nod to the continuation of National Ayush Mission as centrally-sponsored scheme
The Union Cabinet on 14 July 2021 approved the continuation of the National Ayush Mission as a Centrally Sponsored Scheme for another five years till 2026, Union minister Anurag Thakur said.
The scheme would continue from April 1, 2021 to March 31, 2026 with a financial implication of ₹ 4,607.30 crores to be spent during the period.
Thakur told reporters that the scheme involves the expansion of the Ayush sector to promote the holistic health of Indians.
It’s good to know government is willing to encourage and accepting the holistic approach of AYUSH systems of medicine …But at the same time it’s very disheartening and demotivating to see that government is ignoring Homoeopathy completely from NHS…Its complete evidence base science with holistic approach towards patient giving marvelous results and that too in affordable expense.. Why government is lagging in including homoeopathic doctora in NHS and various promoting schemes …its discouraging and demotivating for the large number of homoeopathic fraternity of nation willing to serve the needy patients of India… Please do something in this regards.
