NHS Lanarkshire issued thanks to homoeopathy consultation.

NHS Lanarkshire has issued a thanks to all those who took part in its homoeopathy consultation.

The health board was delighted with the fantastic response to the consultation which asked for views on whether NHS Lanarkshire should continue to use services provided by the Centre for Integrative Care (CIC, formerly known as the Glasgow Homoeopathic Hospital).

The submissions received will be included in a consultation report which will be submitted to the Lanarkshire NHS Board in the autumn.

NHS Lanarkshire director for public health Dr Harpreet Kohli, who chairs the stakeholder reference group which has been overseeing the consultation, said: “On behalf of the reference group, I would like to thank all those who took part in the consultation and indeed the entire review process as their submissions have been greatly appreciated and will help inform the final report.”

The final report will be used by the Board to help it make a decision on whether to retain current services unchanged or cease new referrals to the services provided by the CIC.[Source]
