Institute of Practicing Homoeopathy (IPH) in association with Shree Kamaxidevi Homoeopathic Medical College, Shiroda, GOA and Goa Board of Indian system of Medicines & Homoeopathy, Govt. of GOA, organised a one day seminar (refresh 2018) at Shree Kamaxidevi Homoeopathic Medical College’s Seminar Hall on 10th April 2018 on World Homoeopathic Day.

Dr. Sneha Subhash, Faculty member, SKHMCH, Goa,  invited the guests to dais.  The programme was presided over by Dr. S. D NAIK, Principal, SKHMCH and inaugurated by Dr. DILIP VERNEKAR, Registrar, Goa Board of Indian system of Medicines & Homoeopathy, Govt. of GOA,  by lighting jyothi. A floral tribute was also paid by them along with Dr. FRANCIS FERNADES, Superintendent – SKHMC Hospital, Goa,  Dr. ASHLESA, Chiarman in-charge, Students Council,  SKHMCH, Dr. SNEHA SUBHASH, Seminar Co-ordinator, SKHMCH  and  Dr. B. S. Mohan, Director, Dr. D. V. KRISHNA RAO, Executive Director, Institute of Practicing Homoeopathy (IPH), Ms. Dhanasree, student, SKHMCH. 

In his inaugural words Dr. S. D. NAIK, Principal, SKHMCH, Goa, thanked Dr. DILIP VERNEKAR, Registrar Goa Board of Indian System of Medicine and Homoeopathy for giving permission, association in organisation  and presence as a chief guest of the function. He also stressed the importance of standards in clinical practice. He asked all the students to follow the guidelines made by IPH team.  He appreciated the members of Institute of Practicing Homoeopathy for taking up this programme to update and enlighten the upcoming Homoeo doctors. He appreciated that their students are his strength in all their academic activities.

Dr. DILIP VERNEKAR, Registrar, Goa Board of Indian system of Medicines & Homoeopathy, Govt. of GOA,  inaugurated the One Day Seminar.  He promised that a separate board for Homoeopathy and PG course is being under consideration to upgrade. He explained the arrangements made for the registration process of the BHMS degree simple and transparent.  He also stated that special arrangements are under process for the registration for Non-Goa students / graduates. The board is also planning to consider the credit points to CME / Seminars to make them mandatory for renewal of the Registration. He appreciated the IPH team for their efforts, without any expectations, to inculcate the importance of Clinical Evidence and Practice Management in Homoeopathy among the students, Internees and local practicing Physicians.

On behalf of IPH, Dr. D. V. KRISHNA RAO, executive director, briefed about the inception, development, activities, achievements and present scenario   of Institute of Practicing Homoeopathy (IPH) 

Ms. Lesha and Riyanda anchored the inaugural session. Ms. Nidhi and Blosslom anchored the Valedictory function.

Dr. B. S. Mohan, Director, IPH, delivered his talk on Health, Heath care Industry and Homoeopathy and Practice Management in Homoeopathy. Dr. V. SRINIVASA BABU of IPH presented an audio visual presentation on Clinical Establishment infrastructure. Dr. D. V. Krishna Rao, Executive  director, IPH presented on “Clinical Evidence in Homoeopathy with Clinical cases treated with clinical evidence by IPH members.  Dr. I. Srinivas, Financial Director, conducted Ans&Win, a talent appreciation programme. 

Total 200 Students, 10 Faculty members, 15 Local practitioners and members of  IPH viz.  Dr. T. Sree Ram, Dr. V. Srinivasa Babu, Dr. V. Lakshmi Prasanna from various places of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana were participated. 

Mr. Sudarshan Reddy, Sri Hari, K. Naveen, Prudhvi Krishna, Sai Ram, Ms.Hima Bindu, and Saadhika extended their services as Seminar volunteers.

Dr. SNEHA Subhash presented the vote of thanks. The Authorities and Management of SKHMCH, Goa, presented the Memento to resource persons.
