Call for Concept Research Proposals & HRD Fellowship by Department of Health Research

LabDepartment of Health Research (MoH&FW) invites concept research proposals in identified research areas under the scheme “Grant-in-Aid for Inter-Sectoral Convergence & Coordination for Promotion and Guidance on Health Research” with an aim to Promote and co-ordinate the basic, applied and clinical research in the country. The main components of the scheme are:

  1. Research studies with emphasis on public health
  2. Translational Research Projects
  3. Joint Projects involving Inter-sectoral co-ordination/partnerships
  4. Assessment of comparative/ Cost effectiveness of health technologies for public health choice
  5. Support for participation in conferences abroad and conduct of national & international seminars & conferences etc.*

Concept research proposals are invited from a) Govt. Medical Colleges/ Institutes/ Universities; b) Other institutions / NGO registered with DSIR/DHR; c) Individuals holding regular faculty position in medical colleges/institutions; and d) professional bodies/ scientific societies/ scientific bodies.

Components of the fellowships

  1. Inter-sectoral system shud be implemented on trial basis. But the emphasis on public Health should be given more emphasis to make Homoeopathy a mass & Community based system.Thnx.
