  1. Sir, is there any scope for surgery after PG in obs.Gynae in Homoeopathy ? If yes, specify those surgeries in obs.Gynae.

  2. Dear all,

In the above found final draft of MD (Hom) Regulations 2014 the following contradiction is found:

    1. Page nos 3, 4 and 5 – Regarding Paper IV of part I (Common Paper for all subjects) – The correction is indicated as
“In M.D. (Hom) the sign and words “& History of Medicine” added after Biostatistics shall be omitted” which means the History of Medicine Topic is omitted.

    2. But in Page 8 – Both the syllabus of ‘History of Medicine’ and the whole syllabus of ‘Biostatistics’ are ment to be omitted.

    3. In page 24, The following phrase is given “the words “and History of Medicine” shall be omitted, and the word “and” after the word “Methodology” and before the word “Biostatistics” shall be added” which means only History of medicine is to be omitted.

4.In pages 25 to 29 : In the Mark distribution tables of Newly introduced subjects – Under Paper IV of Part I – “Research Methodology, Biostatistics & History of Medicine” is given.

Clarification is needed whether “Biostatistics” is omitted or not!

  3. Are this courses available in Maharashtra?? It is regular or external?? And can we get admissions on basis of merit in MD hom entrance test 2014??

      • Sir, why r u giving answer like this using word ”KIDDING”. Although I m also against the EXTERNAL M.D. COURSE but it is also a bitter truth that many colleges are running these types of courses so Dr.Sneha routinely asked you question about external M.D. and it’s your duty to answer politely and carefully not frustratingly.

        • Sorry if it hurts…External MD was a ridiculous course by CCH at Dr Bakshi’s period….resulted mockery and much damage to our education system…can you imagine a postgraduate course in medical field by postal…our PG should be post graduation…not postal graduation

          • Sir as per new draft of md syllabus which books to be reffered for scoring good marks in M.D exams.i am a student of fourth year BHMS please reply soon

  4. I didn’t surprised with CCH’s decision of putting ‘Organon of Medicine’ in subsidiary rank. The organon as is said and is the BASE of Homoeopathic healing since; however, CCH put it into subsidiary rank. Do they know the meaning of subsidiary? It means ‘of less important’. Is it organon falls in ‘of less important’ category. It clearly shows mentally emptiness of CCH officials.
Actually, there are three recognized faculties of medicine in India i.e. Allopathy, Ayurvedic & Homœopathy. Out of these three faculties, the students two faculties are taught with obsolete data. The students of Ayurvedic & Homœopathic faculties are taught with obsolete data. Yes! The literature of Ayurveda & Homœopathy has not been updated since their inception. The literature of Ayurveda has not been updated since about 2500 years. While Homœopathy has not been updated since its inception its inception i.e. 200 years. Therefore, the curriculum of them is inharmonious in nature.
For example: The current curriculum of UG and PG i.e. BHMS and MD, which is proposed and recommended by the Central Council of Homœopathy CCH for the study of students, is fundamentally inharmonious in nature. The knowledge of the subjects in question and studies thereof, which are taught in the courses, is not compatible with each other. I can’t understand why Homœopaths of Asian origin, especially of India, cannot look ahead of Hahnemann. Suppose, if any physician presently got the knowledge that equals to the Hahnemann; still he has to breathe in the 18th-19th centuries. He shall have no knowledge of the even cell, immunity, metabolism or bacteria etc.. If he will write anything, certainly he will quote like Hahnemann in his text.
On account of lack of up-gradation, ‘Organon’ is still taught as per understandings of 18th-19th century; whilst other subjects are taught in their most updated form. It generates a lot of confusion in the mind of pupils. In the classroom of ‘Organon’, the teacher, as per guidelines of CCH, taught or give the conceptual (intangible) understanding related to diseases and cure; whereas teacher of the pathology tries to impart the most accepted basis of the diseases and cure; i.e. cellular, molecular and genetic basis of the diseases and cure. It’s a story like such schools, where one teacher teaches that, the robbery is an evil and sin; it should not be done; whilst in the other classroom, other one says that, if anything is of our use, there is no harm in robbing it out. The meaning of education has been lost somewhere in the race of money-making. Now, on the name of education only information is feed up. But, at least some values must be preserved very genuinely.

I am scientist working on medicine since last 40 years. In context of present scenario, I have updated the Homœopathic concept. But my updated version, even after appreciation by numerous related authorities over the globe, in vain. The concern authorities are waiting for some (sum) more recognition. Only then they may think to include my updates in curriculum.

    DR. S. HARIMANN.

    • Organon of Medicine still a main subject for PG. CCH made it compulsory that if students opting subjects like PM, Pediatrics, Pathology etc as main subjects…they must study Organon also…a good decision
