The Government is fully committed to provide improved health facilities to the people at their doorstep and does not discriminate with any state in health matter says Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Smt. Santosh Chowdhary.
She was speaking at a health awarness camp held in Hoshiarpur of Punjab .
Mrs Santosh Chowdhary said that National Rural Health Mission has proved to be a boon in strengthening the health infrastructure in the country.
She said that the centre has provided an amount of Rs. 1.10 lakh crore to the states to improve the health infrastructure and facilities. She said that the centre has sanctioned Rs. 2200 crore in the last six-seven years to the state of Punjab.
